Universities, Textbooks and the iPad

Here is a very interesting article about why universities seem to think the iPad will be the device to finally take Textbooks to the digital format: “Here’s Why Apple Will Beat Amazon In The Battle For The E-Textbook Market”. It seems students aren’t really happy with what ebook readers can offer, but the universities consider that with its more general purpose computing capabilities the iPad may be just the thing they would want.
