Microsoft Courier?! Some interesting ideas for Apple…

I ran across a video that supposedly shows how Microsoft envisions that a new tablet device it is developing will be used. While I haven’t confirmed that it truly is a Microsoft video, there certainly are some interesting ideas there that Apple could take to heart in bringing an enhanced notes application to the iPad.
I’m certainly not going to wait to get one of these, instead of an iPad. Rumors say that Microsoft will not allow the user to install applications, even though it is running Windows Mobile 7, because it feels that its previous tablet efforts weren’t successful because the applications available on the device were not specifically designed for the format. Release date is supposed to be in “late” 2010.
If Microsoft manages to get things to a good start it might give Apple a run for their money, down the road, but they have a lot of catching up to do.
