Rumor: Apple ordering 13 million iPad screens
Posted by Mauricio Longo in Rumors on Mar 22nd, 2010 | 1 commentA news item on Geek.com reproduces information published by the Korea Times citing industry sources that would have confirmed that Apple has placed an order for 3 million iPad display panels with Samsung. This would be in addition to an order for 10 million panels that would have been previously placed with LG Displays.
It would seem that at least Samsung and LG stand to make some money from the iPad, even if they end up loosing netbook sales…
