CBS is preparing for the iPad

You have to admit that sometimes we find out stuff in the weirdest ways.  A report by Jason Mick on DailyTech shows some screenshots from the CBS website with some suspicious “iPad-Test” links.  It seems that CBS is already getting ready for life without Flash.  It seems that the iPad really is pushing everyone to move forward and seek ways to have their sites working without Flash.

Recently we got news of NPR.org, then there was talk of The Wall Street Journal which was also working on preparing a version of the website for the iPad.  CBS is only the most recent to be known to be joining the party but you can bet that there are a lot more companies working at it.  The iPad seems to opening the way to a faster adoption of HTML5 as a replacement for Flash where possible.

🙂 I really don’t think so, as 3 years have passed and there is no Flash on the iPhone. With all the companies running after supporting the iPad without Flash, I see no reason for Apple to change its policy.
