A simple, different and interesting stand for the iPad

Last night I stumbled upon a very simple idea for an iPad stand. I can’t say that it was by accident as I picked it up as the maker started following the iPad Watcher on Twitter, but I wasn’t really looking for anything in this area at the time. The simplicity of the Groovy Stand really drew in my attention.
In essence it is a small wooden base which has a groove into which you can fit your iPad, either in landscape or portrait modes. The stand is available in three different color tones and costs under $7. In a time were we have technology and advanced materials everywhere this simple stand seems a bit refreshing.
