A week ahead of the date set for the first iPads to be delivered to buyers in several countries, the iPad App Stores for those countries start to go live. iPad users from several European countries and from Australia have reported being able to access the store starting today. While the iPad hasn’t officially started being delivered in these countries many people purchased the device in trips to the US or through the gray market for the device that has been growing around the world.
Even as the device becomes available in nine countries next week, potential users from the next nine countries to be contemplated by Apple for iPad release in July will be waiting eagerly to see when their local Apple online stores start to accept pre-orders.
Analysts are estimating that Apple has already received over 600.000 pre-orders for the iPad outside the US, in the roughly two weeks since sales started.
